How does it feel to have sold my first photograph?

Well, fuckin’ awesome!

Homegirl Mbali reached out after I’d posted a picture on twitter saying that she wants to buy it. I didn’t believe her because, to paraphrase Evidence from Dilated Peoples, believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear*. But she pulled through, and no amount of words can fully express my appreciation. The image, a pop culture mash-up of sorts, now rests on her wall somewhere in the world. You should check out what she’s doing to ensure that children have access to better-equipped schools here.
