Two years ago, I met this guy whose music I’d discovered two years earlier on soundcloud. Hlasko is an incredible artist: a beatmaker, vocalist, songwriter, printmaker, and who knows what else? He’s also a collaborator of note — with Stashcrew, with The Brother Moves On, with Behr, with Labelle — and his contribution to music shall be lauded in years to come. I’m glad to know him.
